Flying Dates & Times

Tyldesley Model Flying Club have moved to a new flying site for 2017 which affords us the luxury of unrestricted operation every day of the week. As this move constitutes a period of learning for the club, the committee have agreed to fly only between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00 at this time with no operation of I/C powered aircraft before 10:00 and after 20:00 on Saturdays or Sundays.

Unlike our previous site there are no silent flight only flying periods and models of all types can be flown at any time..

There is a restriction in the existing club rules that limits the number of airborne models at any one time to six. Please observe this at all times.

Access to our site is via a grass field. It is probable, following adverse weather, that the road may become slippery or impassable by car. Please consider the risks carefully before driving onto the site for any flying session where you may be alone. Organised recovery is not available to you.
